It’s a great list for shoppers, but a tough call for our five editorial judges to agree on, ranging from the value-oriented 2024 Chevy Trax to the evolutionary 2024 Kia EV9 three-row crossover SUV. We also recapped some of the 2024 changes to some of Britain’s finest vehicles.

The Velar luxury SUV boasts impressive powertrain choices, refined performance, and styling that never seems to grow old. It’s a 7.0.
Many rivals offer better value, but the 2024 Jaguar F-Pace is lovely inside and out, with a range of powertrains and sophisticated road manners that earn it a 6.6 out of 10.
Sharp handling, good cabin quality, and performance choices ranging from a turbo-4 to a grunty V-8 earn the compact sedan a TCC Rating of 6.0 out of 10.
